What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small note a website leaves in your browser so it can recognise your browser the next time. Your browser can also store notes in two other places, called local storage and session storage. All three are listed here, because what matters is what is stored, not the technical name.
What Storapulse actually stores
This table is the complete list, checked against our own source code by an automated test. There is no advertising cookie, no third-party analytics, and no visitor profiling on this site. Everything below is set by us except where stated.

Third parties
Fonts: the two fonts used by the site are served from our own domain. Your browser contacts no font provider, and no font cookie is set.
Payment: when you subscribe you are taken to Stripe's own payment page. Stripe sets its own cookies there, on Stripe's domain, under Stripe's policy β we set none on your behalf and never see your card number.
Shopify: inside the Shopify admin only, the app loads Shopify's App Bridge script from cdn.shopify.com, as Shopify requires. It is not loaded on the public website.
Our measurement script, on your own store
Storapulse sells a tiny script (pulse.js) that merchants paste into their own store to see which AI assistants send them visitors. It is not loaded on storapulse.com. On a merchant's store it sets no cookie and no visitor identifier: it sends only the referring site and the page path, and the server stores a counter. It does leave one marker in session storage (sp_ai_seen_β¦) so the same visit is not counted twice; that marker disappears when the tab closes.
Refusing, or changing your mind
The necessary items above cannot be switched off: without them you cannot sign in, keep your language, or connect a store safely. The optional referral code is only stored if you say yes, and nothing is stored before you answer. You can change your answer at any time on this page, or through the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page. Refusing costs you nothing: the whole site keeps working.

Deleting them in your browser
Every browser lets you see and delete what a site stored. Chrome: Settings β Privacy and security β Third-party cookies, or Delete browsing data. Firefox: Settings β Privacy & Security β Cookies and Site Data β Manage Data. Safari: Settings β Privacy β Manage Website Data. Edge: Settings β Cookies and site permissions. Deleting ours signs you out and forgets your language, your theme and your answer to the consent question β nothing more.
How long we keep this
Each lifetime is given in the table above; the longest is one year, for your language and theme. Your answer to the consent question is kept six months, then you are asked again. None of these items is kept on our servers: they live in your browser, and clearing it clears them.
